Patriot Self Storage
Based upon Hal Perdew’s (Kelly’s brother) experience as a Regional Vice President at Public Storage (NYSE: PSA) and his intimate knowledge of local markets, the Perdews founded Perdew Self-Storage to buy, build, own and operate 15-20 self-storage facilities within the next five years. The objective is to build and profitably operate each facility within 13 months of breaking ground.
The first self-storage site to be developed is in Englewood, Florida and is currently under contract. The team is in the process of identifying the next several sites and expects to have them under control shortly, and is concurrently reviewing the opportunity to acquire existing facilities.
The Perdews are also currently looking for long-term investment partners who are interested in providing equity in exchange for annualized returns projected to be in excess of 25%. Each facility will be owned by a different LLC, but all will be managed and operated by Hal and his staff at Perdew Self-Storage. Hal and Tom, Kelly’s father, will be responsible for the development and construction of each facility, capitalizing on his vast real estate development and construction experience.
