Angel Venture Partners

My passion is growing companies.  Until now, I’ve only been able to do that one or two companies at a time.  As a managing partner of a venture capital fund I can now significantly impact and help grow many companies simultaneously. 

Angel Venture Partners (AVP) is a venture capital fund that co-invests with the leading angel groups in the country. AVP has nine collaborating angel groups, including the largest two in the US, and six others from those in the top ten. 

AVP solves the key challenge in early-stage investing -- that financing early-stage ventures requires intense effort over long periods of time, but the ventures can only reasonably absorb relatively small amounts of capital. Moreover, for each venture funded, 30-100 need to be considered.  By leveraging the expertise and efforts of leading angel groups across the country, AVP can more efficiently deploy capital across a better selection of opportunities and still provide excellent post-funding support to its portfolio companies. AVP addresses the primary point of pain in angel groups - obtaining sophisticatedand "friendly" external capital.
